Out Quest is a mecha-themed sci-fi RPG for PC, it's inspired by classic anime titles like Galaxy Express 999. 

In the distant future, the depths of space have been colonized by the various civilizations roaming the universe. One of these colonized planets, H-5, is under the care of Galactic Sunrise, a company dedicated to helping colonists survive for a nominal fee. However, after H-5 goes completely silent, Sunrise sends a team to survey the situation, only to find a frozen wasteland of a planet overrun by hooligans and covered in a thick wall of unnaturally dark clouds, with the Sunrise-employed adviser having escaped after a series of grievous mistakes.

What this Demo allows you to do

-Create a character

All the stats work.

You can distribute points as you see fit.

You can input whatever you desire into Name, Gender, and Age. Those aspects do not determine anything.

Your race, however, is tied to your portrait.

There are 7 portraits per race, with 3 races, and 21 portraits total.

There are bits of story and setting available in character creation. Look for them.

-Robot parts

All of the stats work.

You can combine parts as you please.

There are hidden robot parts for you to unlock.

Currently, the only parts you can modify are Head, Core, Left Arm, Right Arm, and Legs.

-Weapon Inventory

All of the stats work.

There are no hidden weapons in the demo.

"Locked" weapons are ones that were not ready in time for this release. 

You have to choose the "Move" tab to reposition a weapon after it gets added the first time.

To remove a weapon from your tab, click on it then press "Delete". 

-Battle

There are 10 levels total.

Each level has a different group of enemies.

Whenever you clear a level, the data is auto-saved for you.

Clear all levels to obtain a special secret.

There are still some camera errors. See the NOTES section below on how to fix them.

You can rotate the camera using LEFT ARROW and RIGHT ARROW.

Hiding behind cover means the enemy needs Line Of Sight to attack you.

Your team mates are currently randomized. 

You need to defend to end a unit's turn.

There are 4 songs in total in this section of the game. Find them all.

There is a huge truck. Find it. 

-Action and Turn Rotation

There are four actions: Move, Attack, Ability, Defend.

Move allows you to reposition your unit.

Attack allows you to pick one of the weapons you equipped.

Ability allows you to use what you have on your current pilot/robot combination.

Defend is this release's "skip turn", giving you a defense bonus and allowing you to move on to the next unit.

Each action takes up a certain amount of energy. 

When all your units have finished their actions, your enemy gets their chance.

This repeats until one of you is defeated.

The game has the following keybinds:

F5 - "Skip turn" can fix errors where you're unable to move or where the enemy is merely stands there and does nothing. 

F12 - Take screenshot

F10 - Reset Camera (if it gets into a disagree-able situation)
